General info about the project

We have quite ambitious project to build a completely homemade boat powered by Raspberry Pi.
With the term "completely homemade boat" we mean that we are going to build the boat from the hull, then we will put all the others hardware components in it.

During the next few weeks we will make a drawing of the project, then we will let you know what we will need in order to make it.
We are thinking of controlling remotely it with a wireless keyboard, and -as software- we will use a program made in Python. We will probably take a cue from this instructables.com page.
At the moment, we have very few and confused ideas, but we have an entire summer to gradually improve our project. We hope we will finish our project by the end of June 2015.
The purpose of this project is to try to use new technological gadgets, such as the Raspberry Pi, in a creative way and to try to get our heads around programming.
If you have any ideas, questions or suggestions, don't exitate about ask or tell us.
