A little work with leds


Sorry for the long silence!
We had some technical problems, so we decided to make some small jobs with the the part that had already arrived.

Here it is what we used:

  • A Raspberry Pi Model B (with a keyboard)
  • 30x jumper F/F (for example these ones on Amazon.com)
  • 30x jumper M/M (for example these ones on amazon.com)
  • 15x red LED light (or the ones you prefer)
  • Any kind of breadboard (we used this one Amazon.com)
  • Adafruit Assembled Pi Cobbler Breakout + Cable for Raspberry Pi (info here Adafruit)
  • An home made case for LEDs

At last, We have written a complete description of how we made our boat's hull.

General info about the project


We have quite ambitious project to build a completely homemade boat powered by Raspberry Pi.
With the term "completely homemade boat" we mean that we are going to build the boat from the hull, then we will put all the others hardware components in it.

What is The RaspBoat Team?
The RaspBoat Team is a team made up of two Italian teenagers, with very little knowledge about the Python programming language, mechanics, or anything else.
It's our first main active experience with prototyping technology and open-source projects.
